Thyroid and Parathyroid Disease
Our physicians are particularly well trained in the surgical treatment of thyroid and parathyroid diseases. These glands are situated in the lower neck, an area where a lot of important structures exist, eg. Nerves, blood vessels, wind pipe, etc…No one is more familiar with the complexities of surgery in this area than our surgeons.

These glands can develop growths which can be cancerous and they can also cause the gland to produce too much hormone. In these cases, surgical treatment is sometime necessary to remove the problem.

Our surgeons use the latest technology in surgery to provide the best possible outcomes for our patients. These include minimally invasive thyroid/parathyroid surgery when indicated, laryngeal nerve monitoring and rapid PTH hormone assay. These ensure our patients that we are taking every precaution that we can in order to give them a good outcome with minimal complications.

Please schedule and appointment with one of our specialists today if you have a problem involving the head and neck area.

Head and Neck Cancer
Malignant tumors of the head and neck are some of the more serious cancers we face. Furthermore, with so many important structures within proximity of each other in the head and neck, diagnosis and treatment can be difficult. Our team at ENT Physicians strives to provide excellent care for those stricken with head and neck cancer and we will work with you to provide the best possible approach to diagnose and treat your problem.

When necessary, we have a network of physicians of other specialties in south Mississippi, as well as in regional and national cancer centers that we can refer to and work with, to assure the best possible outcome for our patients.

Our desire is for our patients to get better. You trust us enough to come to us; therefore, we feel obligated to provide you with the best care possible. Whether that is under our care or under the care of other physicians, your health is the single most important factor that drives our recommendations. We are honored that you trust us to walk with you in making some of the most difficult decisions of your life and you can rest assured that we will work diligently to assure that you get the best possible care.

Neck Lumps
Swelling or knots in the neck are a common reason we see patients. They can be benign or malignant. Our specially trained physicians are able to walk with you through the process of diagnosing and treating these problems. We can help give you peace of mind about this problem or help identify potentially serious problems that may be present. We have the expertise to evaluate and treat these conditions.

Salivary Gland Disorders
Growths on the salivary gland or blockage of salivary gland secretions are common problems. Some of these problems can be treated with medications, but often they require surgery to diagnose and treat. Salivary gland surgery can be difficult due to nerves and blood vessels within or around the glands that make the surgery difficult and tedious.

Our surgeons are trained and experienced to deal with these issues and we do so every day. Whether it is infections within the glands, stones blocking the secretions, or growths within the glands, our physicians can work with you to diagnose and treat these issues.

Please call today and schedule an appointment with one of our physicians.
